It is well known that imaging is playing an increasingly important role in ophthalmic diagnostics. QuikVue Plus is a smartphone adapter designed specifically for anterior segment imaging. It provides 10x magnification that meets the basic eye examination requirements for optometrists, family doctors, pediatricians, veterinarians, etc. The specially designed optical lens allows QuikVue Plus to capture clear anterior images for basic eye examination and telemedicine.

Product instructions
Connect the QuikVue Plus adapter to your smartphone, providing a stable attachment thanks to the use of an air cushion.
Align the QuikVue Plus lens with the main camera of your smartphone. The main camera should be 5 cm away from the lens.
For power management, use the included Type-C cable to charge the mini lithium-ion battery. The light next to the charging port will change from blue to green when charging is complete. If the charge is low, the blue light on the switch button will flash to indicate that it needs charging.
To capture images, use the default camera app on your smartphone or the VisuScience-developed VisuDoc app for ophthalmic case management. The VisuDoc app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.
During the exam, you can adjust the lighting level between two levels of white lighting or use blue lighting for fluorescein images. The reversible yellow filter can be used to enhance fluorescein images with cobalt blue lighting.
The QuikVue Plus can be used for a variety of clinical applications, including general vision exams, emergency exams, immobile patients, geriatric patients, pediatric patients, and pet vision exams.
White and blue illumination
The QuikVue Plus provides white and blue lighting, respectively. The white LED emits warm white light, similar to the halogen lighting of a slit lamp. Two levels of white lighting are available to meet different brightness requirements during examination. Blue lighting can be used to capture fluorescein images to facilitate diagnosis for corneal staining and contact lens fitting, etc.

Power Management QuikVue Plus uses a miniature lithium-ion battery. It can be charged via a Type-C cable. There is one indicator light next to the Type-C charging port. When charging is complete, the indicator light will change from blue to green. The switch button has a blue light on during normal operation. If the battery is low, the light will flash to remind doctors to recharge

Integrated Yellow Filter QuikVue Plus is equipped with an integrated yellow filter. The reversible yellow filter makes it easier for doctors to capture enhanced fluorescein images with cobalt blue lighting. This feature is especially useful for fitting lenses, imaging corneal ulcers, testing tear film breakup time, etc.
Smartphone Compatibility
The air cushion design allows QuikVue Plus to be firmly attached to most phones on the market. Clinicians need to align the QuikVue Plus lens with the smartphone's main camera. The requirements for the location of the main camera are as follows: in the picture

Working App
QuikVue plus can work with the smartphone's default camera app or with VisuScience's ophthalmic case management app VisuDoc. VisuDoc can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play.
