The latest near-well boards, developed in 2006 by the Italian company COI. They contain optotypes simultaneously in Snellen and Jaeger notation. The left side (Jaeger) contains letter and numeric optotypes, law (Snellen) - letter and "hooks". Jaeger's order refers to the size of the optotypes to the size of the fonts, and its grades are multiples of the printing point, unlike the Snellen system, where the basis is the angular size optotyp.Tablice are made in the form of a handy book, bound in a hard canvas, they also contain a string with balls that allows for accurate setting of the test distance.
